Mrs. Wendy Green

Welcome to my class. My name is Wendy Green and this is my 22nd year teaching at PPS!  I am a  proud product of Poquoson City Public Schools and I love how I can give back to the children of our community. I am very excited to be the reading specialist at our fabulous school where we all work together to help children build a love of reading and learning.  Please contact me if you have any questions about our reading model or would like ideas to support reading at home.

Children are made readers in the laps of their parents.  ~Emilie Buchwald

The 3rd Quarter ended on March 13. If you have any questions about your student’s progress, please email me. 3rd Quarter report cards will be mailed home to students on April 17th.

For the work that was sent home on March 13th, students were not required to complete the work, nor will it be graded. If you wish to submit your child’s work from March 16 - March 27 for me to review and provide feedback, please drop it off at your convenience in the box provided outside of the main entrance of the school. Understand that you are not obligated to turn this work in for any reason. Please make sure your student’s name is on all of the papers or place them in an envelope.

The 4th Quarter will start on Wednesday, April 15 and more information will be coming to you soon about assignments and expectations.

We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate these unique circumstances.
