• Welcome Back!

I am excited to be starting the 4th Quarter with you! Our class may look a little different than what we are used to, but we will navigate our way through this change together. Here is some information you may find helpful.

We will be having live, small group instructional meetings this quarter. Your child will join these meetings using a link that I send via Google Classroom. Your child's small group meeting schedule has been shared with you via email.

It is going to be very important that you check your PCPS GMail account and our Google Classroom at least once a day as these will be the primary ways that I will communicate with you during the 4th quarter.

If you are not sure how to join or use Google Classroom or just need a quick refresher, please take a moment to watch this short video: How to Sign-in to Google Classroom and Access Materials

Please don’t hesitate to email me if you have questions!

I will be available to support you with questions via email during my office hours.

    Monday-Friday 9:30-10:30 am.

Welcome to our classroom website. Fourth Grade is sure to be an exciting and challenging year full of new learning. While this is my third year teaching at Poquoson Elementary School, I am entering my 19th year as an elementary school teacher. I have taught first, second and third grade before finding my home in fourth grade! I have a background in special education as well as gifted and talented education. I have an absolute passion for teaching and I just love coming to school each day. I can't wait to start the year off with my rockstar fourth graders!

Important things to check out on our site:

Calendar-I will post important school and classroom events, as well as weekly homework and upcoming tests.

Newsletters-Each month I will upload the latest and greatest classroom information to this page.

Links-Things that we access frequently in class are posted here.
