• Students are to arrive prepared to class on time. Students are responsible for making sure that they turn in any make-up from an excused absence within one week of the recorded excused absence. Materials are available on Google Classroom so that they can have access to all what is needed at all times. Students are to keep their work stations clean. Only water bottles with a closed top are allowed in class. No food or other drinks allowed. Students are to remain on task and only enter websites that are related to the assignment or project.

    Stuent Expectations also include the following:

    • Students are to arrive prepared to class on time. Students are responsible for making sure that they turn in any make-up assignments from an excused absence within two weeks of the recorded excused absence. Materials are available on Google Classroom so that they can have access to all what is needed at all times.
    • Assignments may require time and research outside of the classrooms. All deadlines are expected to be met. Student work may be published and should be completed to the best of their ability.
    • Students are to keep their work stations clean. Only water bottles with a closed top are allowed in class. No food or other drinks allowed.
    • Students are to remain on task and only enter websites that are related to the assignment or project. Computer privileges can be removed.
    • Cell phones: Computers are available for use in the classroom. Students are to put their cell phones in their assigned pocket at the beginning of class.
    • If a student finds that their grade has been entered incorrectly, it is the student's responsibility to bring it to my attention and provide documentation/proof that they received a different grade so that the grade can be corrected.
    • Plagiarism is not tolerated in class. We will be using many online resources, proper citation to credit another person's work is required.
    • Grammar is important and taken in consideration when being graded.
    • Assignments in this course are both collaborative and independent. When working in teams, it is the student’s responsibility to notify the teacher if there is an issue completing assignments or with other students prior to the assignment due date.
    • We respect each other in this classroom. Content in this course can be objective, please consider others in the classroom when choosing topics. If a student is concerned about the content/topic, please feel free to see me so that we can discuss the concern.
    • Gossiping and any form of bullying is not tolerated.

    First Offense: I will speak directly with the student to inform them that they need to correct the action. Second Offense: I will contact the parent to notify them of continued behavior. Third Offense: Conference with parents and/or student will be sent to administrator for further action.
