• Welcome Back!

I am excited to be starting the 4th Quarter with you! Our class may look a little different than what we are used to, but we will navigate our way through this change together. Here is some information you may find helpful.

When we have live instructional sessions or small group meetings, they will be on Fridays according to the following schedule:

    1st period:  2:00- 2:15 pm

    3rd period:  2:15- 2:30 pm

    5th period:  2:30-2:45 pm

    7th period:  2:45-3:00 pm

**We will try this schedule for a while and see how it works.  Subject to change (if needed).

It is going to be very important that you check your PCPS GMail account and our Google Classroom at least once a day as these will be the primary ways that I will communicate with you during the 4th quarter.

Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. We will also have Google Meets on Fridays.  From our Google Classroom home page, there will be a link at the top of the Stream page and at the top of the Classwork page.  You will not be able to join until I am on-line, so you may have to check back periodically because I may be finishing a Meet with another class period.

If you are not sure how to join or use Google Classroom or just need a quick refresher, please take a moment to watch this short video. How to Sign-in to Google Classroom and Access Materials

I will have office hours all quarter where I will be available to help you or answer any questions you may have.

My office hours will be M-F from 9-10 am.

Please don’t hesitate to email me if you have questions!

    • For those of you who didn't sign up for google classroom, please join YOUR class with the following codes:    1st PD: 5eayyoj,    3rd PD: enyyrux,    5th PD: 3d4cxfh,    6th PD: 4wozgoj,    7th PD: lt2wrop

During this time, please know that you guys are in my thoughts. I hope everyone is being safe. To keep yourself busy, you can ALWAYS choose a good book! I miss every single one of you very very very very much!

I'm EXPECTING that my students will be reading for at least 20 minutes per day. This will definitely help to keep your child reading at or above grade level. Thank you!
