The 3rd Quarter ended on March 13. Students have the opportunity to improve their grade if they wish by following the instructions provided and reading the email I sent to parents on March 30th. If you are happy with your 3rd Quarter grade, then you need to take no additional action at this time. Information about 4th Quarter assignments will be coming to you soon.
We are using 3 assignments from the Reading and Math packets that went home on March 13th.
For Reading, the assignments are: "Miracles of Helen Keller", "Koala Bear Central", and "John Henry".
For Math, the assignments are: Math Madness #93-94, 2nd Quarterly Review, and 3rd Quarterly Review.
These assignments will need to be turned in by Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
The easiest way for you to submit your answers is to log on to Google Classroom and fill out the forms provided. If you need an extra copy of the assignments, you may print them here:

Welcome to our classroom website. Fourth Grade is sure to be an exciting and challenging year full of new learning. While this is my third year teaching at Poquoson Elementary School, I am entering my 19th year as an elementary school teacher. I have taught first, second and third grade before finding my home in fourth grade! I have a background in special education as well as gifted and talented education. I have an absolute passion for teaching and I just love coming to school each day. I can't wait to start the year off with my rockstar fourth graders!
