What is Title IX?

Poquoson City Public Schools are committed to providing a safe educational environment where all students have equal opportunities, regardless of their gender. Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities that receive federal funding. It is important to PCPS to ensure that everyone in our school community understands and adheres to Title IX regulations.
