Mrs. Purdie’s Poquoson Middle School 7th grade classes participated in a Readers’ Theater. A total of 43 students, from various class periods, donned era appropriate costumes and acted out the trial scene from the ever popular and classic novel by Harper Lee, “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

The students were engaged in the literature activity and were very excited to use the props, made possible from a Poquoson Education Foundation Grant.
