2018 Graduating Class

PHS Class of 2018

Our 2018 Poquoson High School graduates were successful in many areas as a result of their hard work and the support provided to them by the faculty and staff throughout the school division.  They excelled in the classroom as well as in an array of extracurricular activities and athletics.  As they leave us we want to provide a snapshot of the success of the 155 graduates.

  • 45% of the students had 3.4 GPA or better
  • They earned $1,891,417 in scholarship money
  • The students who applied to either 2 or 3 year colleges had an100% acceptance rate.
  • Students earned 272 career and technical industry credentials
  • The graduates  completed 18,504 hours of community service during their 4 years of high school
  • 82% of the graduating class will attend college or university
  • 3% of the students are entering the military
  • 9% of the students have employment opportunities
  • 5% of the students attending trade schools
