Poquoson High School Celebrates Unity Day

Unity Day

Unity Day was established in 2011 by the National Bullying Prevention Center to promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion.  Poquoson High School celebrated Unity Day on October 24, offering a photo booth and pledge tree in the cafeteria where you students could take selfies and write their name on a leaf, pledging to promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion.  The students and staff were also encouraged to wear orange to provide a powerful, visually compelling expression of solidarity.
