Posed as elves, our Poquoson Elementary Kiwanis Kids delivered and spread cheer to our local community helpers. This is one of the many service-orientated projects this club has provided over the years. The PES chapter of K-Kids have contributed to our quaint Poquoson community with multiple acts of kindness such as making seasonal goodies for the elderly, creating and displaying Veterans Day posters of gratitude throughout the small businesses in town, and have been known to clean our very own Poquoson Museum. PES K-Kids are also proud of their flower sale which enabled them to purchase a new American flag to be flown proudly outside the elementary school. Our PES chapter extends beyond our own community by sending Christmas cards to our military service members across the globe as well as raising donations for Unicef. Being a K-Kid is a combination of wanting to change the world for the better while fostering a personal drive to develop a strong moral character.
